We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate people to join the team. You will deliver intensive support in partnership with clients to achieve their goals.

 

Your role will involve supporting people with intellectual disability, providing a responsive and culturally sensitive service, community independence planning and support, encouraging them to recognize their strengths, abilities, talents and interests, working with them to identify their personal goals and to support them to achieve these, encouraging them to take an active part in their community.

 

You will be able to demonstrate these skills and attributes: Understand issues facing clients, be a confident decision maker in crisis situations, have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, be passionate about achieving improved health outcomes, have good computer skills, ability to work with a diverse group of clients.

 

Relevant work experience working with people with intellectual disability will be preferred.
